Invest Stockholm and the ADS is inviting you to a webinar on impact investments, which has captured the attention of mainstream investors that are determined to generate social and environmental impact as well as financial returns. The investment strategy has been well adopted by Swedish institutions to create an impact locally but as well outside the borders.

During the course of the webinar, we will listen to the *Norrsken foundation on their approach to impact investments and the decision to open up an office in Kigali, Rwanda which is aimed to be the largest hub in the region for entrepreneurship and innovation.
*THINGS will tell us about how the technological development has created opportunities and how they optimize those opportunities in terms of impact.
By improving existing railway infrastructure and adding new links, it is entirely possible to make a significantly climate-smarter and cheaper journey by train without sacrificing any extra travel time. *Oslo-Sthlm 2.55 would provide a major contribution to the transition to a sustainable transport system and would move over one million air passengers to train each year between the capitals Oslo and Stockholm.

We encourage you to take part of the discussion and share best practises on impact investments from your respective country.
